The Neanderchair is meant to be bigger and more padded to actually create a comfortable, fold-able chair.  In my experience the more collapsible the less sturdy.  Hammock chairs are compact but offer zero to no support, other director style chairs are to small, they do not have good back support, or the arm rests are too low to actually rest an arm.  The Neanderchair has fixed all these problems.  No longer do +200lb people have to worry about taking a seat outside at another tailgate or kids game.

This design also added features into the side tables.  On one side is a table with a large cup-holder, a power bank that can charge your cellular device, and that powers a water-proof/wireless 20 watt speaker.  The chair has beautiful teak armrests with a built-in bottle opener, a soft cooler bag that can hold ice and keep a few beers cold on hot days. Have the chair that other parents are jealous of.
